I am a Production Sound Mixer with over 30 years experience. Living in London with a base in Somerset, I have worked extensively in high end TV drama and comedy but also have a background in documentary/factual.I have a degree in Film & Video from West Surrey College of Art & Design - which is where I discovered sound recording was an actual job! Upon graduating I announced I was a freelance sound mixer and I’ve been at it ever since and have never lost that initial enthusiasm…...it is after all the best job on set!I believe making film and TV is a team effort and I bring this attitude to each project. I love working with the other departments to find the best way to get the script onto the screen.I recently finished working on Steven Moffat's 'Number 10' for Hartswood Films and am about to start work on Series 3 of Mr Bigstuff for Sky/Water & Power having done the first two series. Other recent drama projects include John Morton’s hilarious ‘Twenty Twenty Six’. Previous career highlights are Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney’s ‘Catastrophe’, ‘Breeders’ with Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard, Daisy Haggard’s ‘Back to Life’ and ‘Year of the Rabbit’ with Matt Berry.
Recent factual work includes Clarkson’s Farm, The Grand Tour and the Amazon documentary Formula E: Driver.I’ve been lucky to work on some great projects with brilliant directors, producers and crews. I have a fabulous team and a van full of kit ready to go for the next one.
